FAMILIES WITH LiFE COMMUNITY

Families with LiFE hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including family fun days and workshops. We also create short tutorials and guidelines for our parents to use as tools to help there children master their letter sounds and learn to read by 3rd grade.  

We offer short tutorials and also YouTube links to the best and effective content parents may use to help teaching their kids. Families with LiFE also makes appearances at workshops locally and in Jamaica, WI.

With constant updates on social media and news feeds, most adults and kids now have very poor attention spans. To combat this we recommend training your mind and your child's to monitor social media and technology use. Monitoring how many hours a day you use social media or even watch television can help improve one’s concentration. Even by taking breaks during lessons or activities to get fresh air is also a great way to help kids to focus.  Kids need to be engaged , therefore finding out your child's way of learning is also a good way to do this. Some prefer to listen , some to watch and others to touch and demonstrate
